Tom Wrigglesworth
Tom Wrigglesworth trained as an engineer before turning to comedy full-time, winning Channel 4's So You Think You're Funny? in 2003 and building a reputation for warm storytelling that turns everyday frustrations into properly crafted comic stories. His tale of rescuing a fellow passenger from an overzealous ticket inspector, and being arrested for it, became the basis of an award-winning Edinburgh show, nominated for the main Edinburgh Comedy Award and a Sony Radio Award. He's a familiar voice on BBC Radio 4, hosting Radio 4's Comedy Club and creating his own series Open Letters and Hang Ups. Genuinely well-built stories, told with unmistakable Yorkshire charm.
