Sean Percival
Sean Percival is a former welder from Dudley who swapped the factory floor for the comedy circuit in the 1990s, and his stand-up draws directly on that working background — what he calls the comedy of honesty, direct and down-to-earth rather than surreal. Over three decades he's headlined the Comedy Store, the Glee Clubs and Jongleurs, played the comedy tents at Glastonbury, Reading and Download, and performed in the sold-out Comedy Zone show at the Edinburgh Festival. He's also built a career as a scriptwriter, spending two years writing and performing on Capital FM's Birmingham drive-time show alongside Johnny Vaughan. Sharp, relatable realism with a working men's club backbone and a contemporary edge.
