Roy Walker
Roy Walker is one of the most recognisable names in British entertainment, having hosted ITV's Catchphrase for thirteen years and become a genuine household name in the process. Born in Belfast, his path to comedy took in seven years in the British Army and Northern Ireland's hammer throwing championship before he found his calling on the club circuit, winning ITV's New Faces in 1977 with the highest score ever given to a comedian. He's since appeared in The Comedians and Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights, and taken a critically acclaimed solo show to the Edinburgh Fringe.
