Rob Deering
Rob Deering performs stand-up built around a guitar, a loop pedal and his own voice, layering rock and pop soundscapes live on stage before turning them into punchlines — a set that sounds like nothing else on the circuit. He reached the finals of the Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award and the BBC New Comedy Award, won the Amused Moose New Talent Award, and hosted three series of Out to Lunch on BBC Radio 2, later winning Celebrity Mastermind in 2014. Away from comedy he's a keen marathon runner, having completed over twenty marathons and raised more than £150,000 for Parkinson's UK. Technically impressive, genuinely funny, and built to surprise a room.
