Matt Reed
Matt Reed has been working clubs across the country since 2001, when he started out as one half of the comedy duo Mat & Faron before building a solo career on the northern circuit's cheeky, easy-going Wearside charm. He reached the final of the Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award in 2002, sharing the bill with future stars Mark Watson and Gary Delaney, and has since supported Jim Jefferies, Sean Lock, Jason Manford and John Bishop on tour. He's played the Comedy Store, Jongleurs and the Roundhouse, and taken his own solo show to the Edinburgh Fringe. A sharp handler of hecklers with a thick skin and real warmth underneath it.
