Jim Judges is a Midlands-based character comedian, writer, and part-time PhD researcher who explores the exact mechanics and craft of stand-up character comedy. He is most widely known as the creative mind behind the cult-favourite character Ian Crawford, Cutlery Safety Expert—a deadly serious, hilariously obsessive health and safety guru who has entertained audiences across the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and UK comedy circuit.
