Hal Cruttenden
Hal Cruttenden swapped a career as a jobbing television and film actor for stand-up in the early 2000s, building a name as one of the UK's sharpest observational comics on marriage, parenthood and the indignities of middle age. He's been nominated for the Perrier Newcomer Award and three Chortle Awards, and is a familiar face on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week and Have I Got News For You, alongside co-writing and starring in the BBC Radio 4 sitcom Hal. His acting credits include EastEnders and the film The Madness of King George. Fast, self-deprecating, and keeps a room on side even when he's most exasperated.
