Dave Chawner tackles subjects most comedians avoid — mental health, eating disorders, veganism — with a warmth and honesty that gets described as moving as well as hilarious. His debut Fringe show, Normally Abnormal, drew on his own experience of anorexia, was recognised at the Houses of Parliament, and led to a TEDx talk and the number one bestselling book Weight Expectations. He's presented BBC's Tomorrow's World and appeared across BBC Breakfast, Lorraine and Good Morning Britain, and won Ongoing Comedian of the Year at the 2023 Pegasus Comedy Awards. Genuinely difficult subject matter, turned properly funny.
