Danny Ward has spent seventeen years on the UK circuit perfecting a slick, fast style built on sneaky puns, well-hidden one-liners and self-deprecating storytelling. His Edinburgh Fringe shows have picked up serious recognition, including the Victoria Wood Award at the 2023 Edinburgh Comedy Awards, and he's fronted BT Sport's The Football's On and co-hosts the Jokes podcast with Mark Simmons. He's also an award-winning filmmaker, having directed a documentary about the late comedian Ian Cognito.
