Once warmed up 12,000 people for The Doves — a Manchester storyteller who's held huge crowds and tiny club rooms alike.

Danny Deegan has been a fixture of the northern comedy circuit since his 2003 debut, building an anecdotal, mischief-filled storytelling style that Chortle called "mature" well beyond his years on stage. He's headlined The Stand, Frog and Bucket and The Glee, supported Chris Ramsey and Dave Spikey on tour, and played festival crowds at Green Man, Kendal Calling and Download, including a wrap gig for The Doves in front of more than 12,000 people. He's appeared on Stand Up Britain and Made in the North, and hosted his own show on CAT FM. Warm, quick-witted, and just as comfortable holding a massive festival crowd as a club room.
